Pupil through day, boxer through evening: How this 17-year-old Staten Islander received a citywide event

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — For the final 5 years, 17-year-old Anthony Laieta of Dongan Hills has been coaching as a boxer, and months of laborious paintings ready him for the instant when he stepped into the hoop all the way through a citywide boxing event this previous spring.

Laieta, a contemporary graduate of New Dorp Prime College, has been boxing since he was once in 7th grade. He spent a lot of his ultimate 12 months of highschool coaching for the NYC Ring Masters Event, previously referred to as the Golden Gloves.
