PSG vs. Reims: Ligue 1 live stream, TV channel, how to watch Messi and Mbappe online, start time, news, odds

Paris Saint-Germain welcome Stade de Reims to the French capital in Ligue 1 on Sunday with a provisional 10-point gap owing to Olympique de Marseille’s replayed fixture with Olympique Lyonnais which could keep Les Parisiens’ advantage at 10. Reims are safe from the threat of relegation for now but need a few wins to push themselves back up towards midtable. Lionel Messi should make his return to action for PSG after his recent positive COVID-19 test and has returned to the squad while Kylian Mbappe is also fit enough to be included.

Here is how you can watch the match and what to know:

Team news and storylines

PSG: Messi and Mbappe are both in while Gianluigi Donnarumma is out with a calf issue. Neymar, Georginio Wijnaldum and Juan Bernat remain on the mend. Achraf Hakimi, Idrissa Gueye and Abdou Diallo are still on Africa Cup of Nations duty.

Otherwise, it has been a reasonably smooth start to 2022 for Mauricio Pochettino’s men with two wins from three. A draw away at Lyon is not the end of the world and three of the capital outfit’s next four domestic games are at home ahead of the UEFA Champions League showdown with Real Madrid.

Reims: Arber Zeneli has a knee problem while Marshall Munetsi and Valon Berisha have hamstring issues. Ghislain Konan, Moussa Doumbia and El Bilal Toure are still on AFCON duty. Sambou Sissoko and Fraser Hornby miss out as Hugo Ekitike, Azor Matusiwa and Moreto Cassama return.

One win and two draws from their last five keep Oscar Garcia’s men away from danger and they will be looking at struggling Girondins de Bordeaux at home after PSG and a possible source of three points.

An easy win for the hosts. This one should be less challenging than Stade Brestois 29 was, and three or four goals would not be a surprise. This is a good chance for Messi to truly find his feet in Ligue 1 against the side he made his debut against earlier this season. Pick: PSG 3, Reims 0.
