MANILA (UPDATE) – The Cell Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia this June, developers Moonton Online games introduced Wednesday, as the Philippines seeks to just take home two straight titles from the level of competition. 

Right after a year of staying held remotely, and the 2020 installment becoming cancelled amid the COVID-19 risk, the match will now be held offline. 

“This year’s event marks its return to an offline LAN opposition,” Moonton Video games reported in a statement forwarded to reporters. 

The event will be held on June 11-19, and 12 teams will compete to become Southeast Asia’s ideal squad as well as the lion’s share of the $300,000 (P15 million) prize pool. 

Two Philippine teams, notably the champions and the runners-up of the on-heading ML:BB Professional League Season 9 (MPL Time 9), will take part.
