Men’s Basketball Travels to Wofford for SoCon Matchup on Wednesday

CHATTANOOGA — Coming off a 30-point rout over ETSU to open league play, the Chattanooga Mocs men’s basketball team returns to the court for a Southern Conference showdown at Wofford inside the Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium in Spartanburg, S.C., on Wednesday night. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. ET on ESPN+.
 
Chattanooga (11-3, 1-0) began SoCon play last Thursday with an 82-52 blowout home win over rival ETSU in front of a nationally-televised audience on ESPNU. The Mocs, who are 5-0 all-time against ETSU in conference openers, moved up two slots to No. 13 in the latest Collegeinsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 Poll.
 
Wofford (8-5, 0-1) dropped its league opener at home to VMI, 80-73, last Wednesday. Similar to UTC, Wofford saw its New Year’s Day matchup (at UNCG) postponed due to COVID related issues.
